There's a distinction to be made between a map entity for the editor which includes brush/patch information and the game entity in the compiled map which loads it's visual and collision model from the .proc and .cm. ie brush and patch are editing primitives only, the game has no concept of them (as further reinforced by etqws splitting of .map into .world and .entities). I've started what I feel better clarification of what a game entity is (though I admit I'm no wordsmith), but have yet to review the rest of the page. The Entity Interactions section is good, and so is the explanation of a visual representation of event driven code, but it's more likely to apply to a map entity/ map editing.
