Talk:Global material keywords (Doom 3)
From modwiki
Eeek! Category and name reversed on all links! Red alert cleanup crews!
The links should have names like "backSided (Material global keyword)" and not "Material (backSided)"!

er... roger
I'll start cleaning the individual keyword articles which have links to others

When you have edits in progress, just make a minor edit and put a {{inuse}} somewhere on it, this'll put a big banner on the page to (hopefully) prevent other people from editing it.
nice
Thanks for the tip and thanks for the upgrade.
Quake 4 Keywords on the D3 Page?!?
It seems some keywords got in (like portaldistancenear which aren't present in Doom 3. (According to the page itself, flagged as Q4 specific, and iddevnet.)
So what to do with them, do I put them under a Q4 subsection (weird, seeing how Prey got it's own page) or on a new page? -Kamikazee 01:25, 20 July 2007 (CEST)
New Page
The keywords are already sorted based on function. A separate "Quake 4" section wouldn't follow suit.
A new page would be best. This way things are consistent regardless which game you happen to be working with. The only difference between each game specific list should be the unique keywords.
And it's within each of these unique keyword articles that we'd make use of game specific templates. This way we can reuse articles where the information is applicable across the board and if not it's noted as such.
To tell you the truth, I'm not sure how we managed to skip making a Quake 4 specific article but it's good that you've caught the problem.
Great work on these material shader articles BTW. You're making me look bad. ;)
