At present this is pretty much a straight port of Goliath's PDF tutorial. It's the most concise document that I know of that details the process and should prove relatively easy to integrate into the wiki.

I'll be stripping, revising, and moving information from this article throughout the wiki over the course of the next few days. I welcome any assistance on this. The general idea is to document everything there is to know about the conversion process and omit everything that bears relation to the task of modeling and texturing as that information is covered here in it's appropriate sections. The only exception is when that information has an impact on the conversion process in which case it should be condensed into a note.

I've pretty much finished revising this article. I'm not familiar enough with the topic to go through it with a fine comb.
