Final Notes

I'm going to orphan these two images:

They're broken, and if they can't be fixed anytime soon, I'd rather not hold up this article for them.

What needs fixed?

What is your intention for those images? Perhaps I can fix them for you?

wiki can't take them

If you just visit the page, you should see the errors at the top. Thumbnails can't be generated, and the files can't be deleted so I wasn't able to simply replace them. I remember reading about someone else on here having a similiar problem with certain PNG images. Might be Photoshop 7's not-so-standard way of saving them.

Actually, see for yourself; Special:Newimages. Even most of my new uploads have the same problem. I kept a smaller width so I could utilize the full-size images for now.

Image problems

The image problems are due to me having to downgrade the wiki software in order for it to work with the new host (no php5...), I'm not totally sure how to fix it at this point but I'll be looking into it. --iceheart 00:57, 1 January 2007 (CET)

PHP 4?

It seems odd that the lower-versioned wiki would allow input it can't handle correctly. Have you tried running a diff between the file submission page of this newer, lower-version, and the older, higher-version? How about the module for image handling? You could try just dropping the image handling section from the new version straight into the old version... Is all the image resizing done with PHP libraries, or do they rely on a binary like imagemagick?

DB

The difference is in the database format used to handle images, which I've been unable to downgrade so far. --iceheart 04:11, 3 January 2007 (CET)

Oh

Well then, I'm out of even my dumbest ideas. --onu 05:48, 3 January 2007 (CET)
