Defining the URL and Link Text Separately
You don't need to create a redirect page for "stage keyword".
When the name of the link does not match the article name you want to link to you can simply define the url and link text separately like so...
[[Material_(stage_keywords) | stage keyword]]
... where ...
[[
|
]]
For instance, the code...
[[ my_dumb_article | a fake article ]]
will produce a link like so...
...where the link reads differently than what it points to.

- I understand that; my reasoning was that other wiki users might not realise that the real articles have a "(cvar)" in brackets, and end up creating redundant new articles like com_showFPS. Having the redirect pages in place means that the previous link would automatically work. OrbWeaver 21:59, 7 Sep 2005 (W. Europe Daylight Time)
That's what we admins are for!
To fix it when people do like that! :) -- iceheart 22:02, 7 Sep 2005 (W. Europe Daylight Time)
Image stuff
I see you've been uploading and using a lot of images lately, I would suggest taking a look at the Image_test page for different ways to use images, like pretty thumbnailing and on-the-fly resizing for the page, so you don't have to upload smaller versions all the time :). -- iceheart 01:15, 12 Oct 2005 (W. I'm feeling lucky
It's funny you should mention that. There's a story behind that link. It's a relic from when most of our documentation was on the forums.
I got sick of having to update the link every week or so because the location kept changing. So I employed Google to do the redirecting for me. :)
